Our celebration in Ireland features "Bande Utkala Janani," cultural performances by our youth, and a deep dive into the artistic legacy of our homeland.

Raja Parba

Timing: June

The Essence: A unique celebration of womanhood and nature, Raja brings the flavors of Odisha to the Irish summer. We recreate the tradition with decorated swings (Raja Doli), traditional games, and of course, the authentic taste of Poda Pitha and Raja Pana. It’s a joyful time for families to connect and for the new generation to experience our folk traditions.

Sri Jagannath Rath Yatra

Timing: June/July

The Essence: The spiritual heart of our community. We observe Rath Yatra with deep devotion, recreating the journey of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Subhadra. This event is a grand display of Bhajan, Kirtan, and Pahandi, followed by the distribution of Abhada (Mahaprasad). It is our largest annual gathering, welcoming everyone to experience the universal brotherhood of Jagannath culture.

Kumar Purnima

Timing: October/November

The Essence: As the autumn moon rises, we celebrate Kumar Purnima with traditional songs and the Chanda Puja. This is closely followed by Boita Bandana, where we commemorate the maritime glory of ancient Kalinga. We gather at local Irish waters to float symbolic paper boats, keeping the "Bali Jatra" spirit alive thousands of miles from the Mahanadi.
